Hello. My 2002 punto's horn has stopped working. Had the car for about 6 months when the horn stopped working. Been fine without one but MOT's up soon and ned it fixed. The horn works when in another car or connected to the battery. We have checked the fuse, relay and switch in the steering column and they are seem to be working fine. 1,694. Points. 322. Sep 7, 2008. #2. open the boot, you will see 5 metal contact plates on the edge of the boot. If you unscrew the two screws either side, check that the plastic wiring holder hasnt melted away. This happened to my original punto and caused the rear wiper to intermittently work, and the rear heated window didnt work at all.
