I followed all the steps in the troubleshooting section and I am still having the same problem. I have tested about 10 other games and none of them are giving me this message.

If you want to try it, look on both this forum and the Drakensang 2 - Phileasson's Secret forum here and copy down all the ways people have said to make it work. Then get the game and try the various methods.
Corlain Apr 14, 2017 @ 6:42am. The DLC adds 2 questlines to the game, so no you can't play it separately. You can start the first one right away by buying the map from the woman in the harbor. The second one starts when a guard asks you to guard the harbor while he sleeps, but I don't remember if you could get this immediately in the beginning.
