The KTM's are the extremes. The EXC's will be much better dirt bikes than the WRR and the 690 will be a much better road bike. To me, the WRR fits in the middle. It's both a solid road bike and a solid dirt bike that can take you down pretty much any trail a novice to intermediate rider would probably go.
Something that's not mentioned much is the rather narrow turn radius. Being a short rider (5'5") and the 690 being heavy compared to other dirt bikes I definitely struggle in the tight stuff. show shallow steering angle doesn't help much but most stuff is still doable but you'll be working harder than other guys.

Maybe available aftermarket. CS sprocket is different from smaller singles and 950/990s. The older LC4 (625,640, etc.) front sprockets are exactly the same as the 690. For example, 58033029014 is a KTM OEM 14 tooth front sprocket that will fit the 690 (from the 2005 640 Enduro parts fiche.) #23.

Second is almost the same, third is between third and fourth of the KTM, same with fourth gear and as you can see, fifth of the BMW is taller than sixth of the KTM. At race pace on the track, the 6 speed of the KTM would win, but in the real world, with a slower rider (ME), the BMW’s gearing is better.

Melbourne AU. try the easy things first. check all connections, check fuses, sometimes fuse looks ok but its blown, good to check with multimeter. charge battery. put in neutral, clutch in, side stand up. just to eliminate some switch issues. i had lose connector on diode on my 640 and it wouldn't start. . 153 361 285 140 365 308 28 120 260
