In my experience, if you keep up with the regular maintenence, they are very reliable. Not counting the electrics. :) I have owned about 7 Alfas over the years, various models. But, the newest one was a 1991 164S, so my experience is not current.
Alfa Romeo is famed for making great looking sports coupes and few have ever looked better than the sensational Alfa Romeo Brera that was introduced to Australia in June 2006.
